I remember really struggling with these body changes after my hysterectomy 19 years ago. Still working on acceptance and it's gotten easier. But putting on that first pair of shorts in the spring, or a swimsuit, still feels like emotional Russian Roulette.

It's like you were in my bedroom with me last week😂 I'm in a similar boat (ED history, hyst in 2021, etc) and getting dressed damn near sent me back ten years. But instead, I'm looking forward to updating my wardrobe! Thank you for sharing

Oh my goodness, Elizabeth, thank you for telling me this! I totally hear you on feeling “set back” in those moments. Hysterectomy and hormones really challenge all the ED progress. I’m so glad you’re going to do a wardrobe update. Do you have a preference for styles or a “vibe?”

❤️ I've honestly stuck with basic tees and jeans/shorts the past few years (outdoorsy vibe I guess!) but I'm hoping to branch back out to brighter colors and dresses/jumpsuits this year

Maybe you're already familiar with this, but I found the Kibbe types to be super helpful in figuring out what would be comfortable on my body :) (I'm a flamboyant natural). It really narrowed down which silhouettes were best to try

I'd heard of them, but hadn't figured mine out. I just took a quiz and I think I'm a flamboyant natural too! Thank you for the recommendation. I'm also considering trying one of the clothing rental companies, like Nuuly
